About Founder

Aziz Mohamed Ahmed is a Tanzanian filmmaker with more than 15 years of experience in the film industry. He began his career as an actor before transitioning into producing and directing. Ahmed holds an FTC Diploma and is a registered member of the Tanzania Film Board. He is fluent in both Kiswahili and English.

Ahmed’s most recent role was as the Entertainment Director at Big One Entertainment in Dar es Salaam, a position he has held since 2010. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to showcasing the rich culture and talent of Tanzania. His work is widely recognized for its authenticity and its ability to resonate with audiences both locally and internationally.

Under the experienced leadership of BIG ONE ENTERTAINMENT producer of long-running hit series such as HUBA and JIYA, Aziz brings a proven track record as an Executive Producer. He understands the urgency and discipline required to deliver a daily show, having successfully overseen multiple series from 2016 to date. This reflects his consistent ability to produce high-quality, timely episodes that align with Mnet’s business structure, targets, and delivery timelines.
